Bought this as a gift. My friend uses it all the time and has gotten quite good at making the bowl sing. She is using it in her father's room who is recovering from being sick.

Still learning how to use this item, but I think it's great for a beginner. Once I get used to it, I will be willing to pay more for a singing bowl. Until then, this works perfectly for me.
