My dog is not very active and afraid of water so I reduced the pressure of water fountain using the splitter. There is a black colored valve attached to the splitter that can be used to change the water pressure for your dog. I have mine on low because my dog doesn't really want to get wet, she just wants to drink. This provides nice cold fresh water on demand on these hot Texas afternoons. It's great! Value for money product.
Recently received this product. It is a must-have for anyone owning a dog. My dog just loves it. It's kind of a toy for him and he can drink fresh water whenever he desires. For us it's great too, as we don't need to frequently replace the water in his bowl anymore. Training took a day. In the beginning, he was afraid of it but later on he started playing with it. If you have a dog, its a must have for you.
As the weather is heating up, I need to keep my dog cool and well hydrated in the summer months. I installed it in my yard. It is a great concept, drinking water on demand! It's a great item with practical use and also check on water wastage. My dog and other neighborhood dogs have a great time stepping on the plate to activate the fountain. I feel glad that my money was not wasted.
I purchased the previous version of this water fountain for my Labrador earlier, but it had a plastic valve housing. This newer model has a copper valve which is more durable than the earlier one. The hose also has coil and screws so that it doesn't just slip over from the faucet. The product looks to be built well enough to last many years. I suggest all dog owner to buy it.
This pet fountain is very sturdy and works great. I love the fact that I can adjust the amount of water coming out. My dogs took a few days to learn how to use it, but now they are always playing and bathing. The paddle is not too hard or too loose to press and works perfectly when they are thirsty or bored. My dogs seem more active since i installed it. It is a very smart product because water only comes when the paddle is pressed.
This is very cool. I love the paw design given on it. It is ideal for cats and dogs as i have both. It holds on the desired place strongly without slipping and can be connected to any tap using a pipe. I use the same pipe to water my plants, after that, i connect it with this pet fountain. My pets play and enjoy in clean water. Satisfied.
I am very happy with the quality of this product. It looks good quality material. Very easy to install. It took less than 5 minutes to install and i pressed the paddle in front of my dog. He became curious and when i pressed it a few more times, he learned how the water comes out. Its better than a bowl of water. I recommend it to dog lovers.
It took me a couple of days to teach my dog how to use it. He is 8 months old and a little hyper, but he loves water! So, this has become a bit of a game for him. He drinks a little more water than usual but I don't mind because he actually enjoys it. The hose is shorter than I expected but it works fine with another hose.
Very good product. The packaging was a little wrinkled but thankfully the fountain was not damaged. I have a dog and this is the best thing I've bought for them in a very long time! He already learned how to use it. The stream of water comes out not too hard and not too soft. Very well made and seems durable. This is going to be much needed this summer.
I have two heavy American pitbulls. We all go on the morning walk together and when we get home, this is the thing that can freshen them up. They play with it for hours. It has a two way splitter with which you adjust the speed of the water coming out. Although they end up flipping the plate over a lot it is a great toy for them.
